I mean..little...man.

9 month appointment yesterday went great! Tanner is now only in the ALMOST 5% for weight. Weighing in at an astounding 17lbs. 6oz. His length has dropped off a bit, they aren't too concerned....getting a length on a wiggly child is hard to be accurate on. He's got a big noggin..lot's of brains...the 90%.

We got the go ahead for all table foods. So, we will slowly transition from the baby foods to table foods, and that will hopefully lessen the amount of formula ( just because it's so darn expensive). We are going to start dairy products also and see how he tolerates them. He did not tolerate regular formula, so they are hoping he is growing out of his intolerance for dairy. I'm sure Tanner is excited if he could understand that meant he could have more food....I swear the child would eat forever. I haven't found a thing he doesn't like. Of course after every single bite there is a "mmmm" sound!

This starts the craziness that is our May schedule. Andy is out of town next week, we have family and friends in town this weekend, then I'm out of town, then we are out of town as a family....so much fun!

Til then...God bless.

The funniest baby play date ever!

Did I ever mention there were 11 of us pregnant at one time on the floor that I work on? So it is crazy baby madness. Well, we decided to start getting together every month for a baby play date. This was the first one, and it was fun, mass chaos. There were 7 babies that could make it, from the age of 18 months to 6 months. Here are a few of the hilarious pictures....proving that us Mom's just chased the babies around the whole time. Tanner and a few of his girlfriends, Elizabeth and Brooklyn. Not sure he was digging the hugging thing, yet.

Attempting to get a group picture.....before.
Grant stole Tanner's bib and pacifier and all heck broke loose. Tanner is a little sensitive about his pacifier and his bib's. You would be laughing out loud if you were there....and if you could've seen ALL the kids at this moment.

P.S. Tanner is a big Twins fan...and loves to visit his Uncle Dustin's office.

We are in t-r-o-u-b-l-e!

This just in....Tanner can pull up to stand. Oh my, I was thinking that this was going to happen sooner than later. I guess we have to FULLY baby proof the house now! Oh man, he looks like a little shrimp standing....just our little man. Oh, and did I mention that he can climb stairs apparently also? Ya, we found this out this evening. He did it several times, but by the second time he was scary good at it. The pediatric nurse in me is thinking that at least there are only 2 small carpeted stairs so he can't get hurt too bad when he falls DOWN the stairs.

Oh and his new favorite thing will be to go after Cooper's kennel. That is nice.

Easter Sunday

What a wonderful Sunday it has been, well weekend I should say. Sunday's are my favorite day of the week, and this was a very nice one. We started off with an Easter egg hunt for Tanner in our living room. Only a few eggs, that were filled with his favorite puffs snacks! The pictures are all out of order, but I bet you can figure it out. Brunch at Staley with the Keilbey family. Doesn't Tanner look like such a "big boy"?
Tanner crashed after the day was all over....Daddy's shoulder is awfully comfy!

A blurry, moving, in-action photo of the Easter egg hunt in jammies. Cooper was helping!

Dinner for Katie's birthday. The 2 crazy babies and their Daddies!

This is proof that Tanner is getting into everything, crawling onto anything, and wreaking havoc where he can. We are loving it! So much fun!
I've learned that it is a little hard to get the message and listen in church when you are worrying about your 9 month old talking too loud and bothering other people in Mass.
I so did not lose my cell phone this weekend for about 2 days, then found it in the pocket of the stroller, only after my Mom figured out that it might be there.....Wow, losing my mind!
God bless, 'til next time...

Let me never forget, please God.

Please let me never forget these moments. Putting Tanner to bed, leaning over his crib and him playing with my hair, touching my face....snuggling with me as I hold him when he is tired. Please let me not forget the way he scratches surfaces with his little hand when he is tired or right after he has woke up. How can I etch these in my mind? Will pictures do it? Will video do it? Will my memory hold up? Probably not, but moments like this melt my heart and fill my heart with a love for that little boy like I've never known. Unexplainable love. Gosh I love being a Mom.
